Gardengate Celebrates 25 Years of Growth, Community, and Well-Being
Kamloops, BC – On Thursday, October 30, 2025, hundreds of community members, supporters, Gardengate participants, volunteers, and team members gathered at 915 Southhill, Kamloops to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Gardengate, the flagship community garden program operated by Open Door Group. The event, held from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, marked a milestone in a program that has supported and nurtured mental health, well-being, and food security in the Kamloops community for a quarter century.

We’re excited to share that the WorkABility Program is officially opening its new office in Calgary on October 1st, 2025. The new space will expand employment opportunities and resources for Calgarians living with disabilities. Located at Suite 150 - 707 10th Avenue SW., Calgary, AB, the new Open Door Group office is designed to provide both individualized support and group programming that prepare participants for meaningful and sustainable work.
